She went into this a little bit during the Koffeeklatch as well. Basically, the rights were signed the year after RJ died, for 7 years. they now have 4 years left to get the movie or mini-series in the cinema or on air, otherwise the right s revert back to her. This makes the timelines really tight if we're looking at Hollywood standard mega-productions - they theoretically could still do it if someone high up in the studio hierarchy gets enough drive... but it's unlikely they'll make the deadline even then. She estimated it as about 50-50 chance that the whole thing will get shelved and seemed quite happy with the possibility that none of it would ever be dramatized.
