I think this falls under WoT related.

I still remember very clearly as I was at work at GE Healthcare at the time and I clicked on CNN.com only to see "Wheel of Time authored passes away..." as a headline. And it honestly didn't click for a good 5-10 seconds that it was RJ and then I was just super sad.

They had one hell of a great chat discussion here that night that I sadly missed as I was at work at the chat function didn't work through the firewall.

I will always wonder how he would have finished WoT and I wish he had not gotten sick and also bogged down in the later books so they were forced to use BS to finish it for him.
