I can't get that excited about it, I never managed to get into the books. I've tried a couple of times, I think I own the first two, or I used to anyway, but it just doesn't work for me. I have friends who rave about it being the best thing ever written, ever. Naturally I laugh in their faces.
I really liked the first book, thought the second and third were both good, but not great, but Wizard and Glass, the 4th Book, was, at least in my opinion, one of the greatest fantasy novels ever written. Easily up there with the Silmarillion, Tigana, New Spring and the second trinity of WoT (TSR, tFoH, & LoC) at the pinnacle of fantasy.

Hmmm, OK. Naturally I am now suspicious of everything you say as you don't like dogs.
