Default Brit Hume to Tiger: Convert

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/0..._n_409720.html

Quote:
Fox News' Brit Hume gave Tiger Woods some personal advice Sunday morning, telling the scandal-plagued (and Buddhist) golfer to 'turn to Christianity' to make a full recovery.

On "Fox News Sunday," Hume the former leader of Fox News' political reporting and host of "Special Report" who now serves as an analyst for the network said that Woods' recovery "depends on his faith."

"The extent to which he can recover seems to me depends on his faith," Hume said. "He is said to be a Buddhist. I don't think that faith offers the kind of forgiveness and redemption that is offered by the Christian faith. My message to Tiger would, 'Tiger, turn to the Christian faith and you can make a total recovery and be a great example to the world."

In 2008, Woods told Reuters about his religious practices.

"I practice meditation," he said. "That is something that I do, that my mum taught me over the years. We also have a thing we do every year, where we go to temple together. In the Buddhist religion you have to work for it yourself, internally, in order to achieve anything in life and set up the next life. It is all about what you do and you get out of it what you put into it."
Wow. Just.. wow.

Hahahaha

I know it will never happen, but I think a basic requirement for any proselytizing religion should be to learn about other "religions" before making dumbass generalizations like this.

Buddha doesn't offer forgiveness. He's just like the Old Testament Yahweh, you know.

I don't think that would matter if they did offer forgiveness Sdog. Clearly Christian Forgiveness -TM is the superior brand.

The only reason Foxnews even pisses me off anymore is their name and the "fair and balanced" Bullsh!t they spout.

Just change it to FoxWingnutOpinions Channel and I'd be okay with them.

He should really go with Mormonism. That way he could make an honest woman out of all these ladies he's had.

I hope all these women were the best damn lay in Tiger's last 14 lifetimes, considering how much money has gone down the crapper because he couldn't keep the little tiger in its enclosure.

If they weren't, then it isn't the Christian Faith he needs to learn. He needs to learn cost-benefit analysis.

From what I understand, he has a pretty ironclad prenup so this really won't cost him that much in the end. Besides, when you have several hundred million, $20-30 million won't hurt really.

He should just go the Derek Jeter route from now on and hit everything and anything that crosses his path.
