Default New Caine Novel - His Father's Fist

A couple weeks ago, Matt Stover announced on his blog (mwstover.com) that he just turned in the 4th Caine novel. If you guys haven't read his stuff, he's all-around awesome. Heroes Die is the first in the series. His Star Wars tie-in work is also very good.

If you do know Caine, what're you hoping to see in the next installment?

Supposedly it's on Del Rey's 2011 schedule, but nothing official.

This is one of those things I'm going to either not care about or be driven crazy by, so I'm going to duck out.

But please, when there is an actual release date and it's somewhat close post another thread and I'll gladly participate.

To answer your question though: Shit is going to get crazy.

I was idly wondering when this book would come out a couple weeks back, so this is good news.

I really felt like the last one was only half a book, though. I hope this one is a bit more complete, and doesn't just feel like the second half of a book.

That's because the last one was half of a book.

I don't care if the second one feels like the second half of a book, as long as it is like Blade of Tyshalle.

If it bothers me that much, I'll just read Caine Black Knife first.
