Default Favorite movie scenes

Working on the theory that even really shitty movies have a couple of minutes of really good stuff in them, I'm going to post some of my favorite scenes from different movies. I'm hoping y'all will post some of yours.

I'm not a fan of Stallone, but I love this movie. This is one of my favorite scenes.

Victory (Pele bicycle kick for a goal)

I always thought this movie blew serious ass, but it's got the best shootout scene ever.

Heat

Desperado Not a great movie, this is a great scene though

LotR, Ride of the Rohirrim. Great movie, Great scene

Reservoir Dogs Sometimes, you gotta shoot your way out.

Since on the basis of your last two entries you are also including good movies, here's two great scenes from arguably the greatest movie ever made.

Sei took mine with the Ride of the Rohirrim. Easily my favorite scene. Granted, I always liked scenes like that.

Well, here's a another of my favorites though, from the same movie, Argorn's speech "It is not this day!"

agreed with "don't bring a knife to a gunfight"

There's a really awesome scene in Enchanted - demonstrates the real-life application of Disney cartoon-logic.

Is it just me or does his voice go weird at that line?

Here's one of mine: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2oMnG...eature=related (It ends in the middle of him saying "and for what else in mine".)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0DJC-ECU8IE This one I like because it contrasts so well with how they are treated by whitefellas later in the film.

I don't actually watch that many movies...

Here's another favourite scene - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ev_v3xgxMTg - from another film. The darker-haired lady reminds me of Verin...

Kung Fu Hustle...Terrible movie, but one of my favorites. There are som amny good scenes I had to choose from. I picked this one.

Bullitt. The greatest car chase ever made. Again, terrible movie, but I think this makes it much better.

And I roll laughing every time I see this. The left right combo is hilarious.

Glad someone likes Victory other than me. Loved the Pele' bicycle kick scene.

Can't access Youtube here at work, but some personal faves would be Indiana Jones shooting the Middle Eastern scimitar dude.

The French taunting in Quest for the Holy Grail.

The entirety of Full Metal Jacket.

The Indian sales clerk in 40 Year Old Virgin.

In honour of today, this is one of my most favourite movie scenes ever. And beautifully scored (well, the first 2.5 minutes)...

One of my favorites, that really grew on me, was "Flushed Away." There are a ton of good scenes in this one.

My personal go-to favorite is the High Five. But that's really short, so...

I couldn't find the scene from the actual movie, but here's the song from the scene in question. Apparently Hugh Jackman made it up while filming the scene and they just ran with it.

On the theme of bad movies with good scenes, here's the climax to one of the funniest in "Jingle All the Way."

One of the non-chain cinemas in town had a Bogart special a couple of Sundays ago - Arsenic followed by The Big Sleep. My first time with both, and I now own them.

Since the former VP is such a VIP, maybe we should keep the PC on the QT else it could leak to the VC, he could become an MIA and we'd all end up on KP.

It's a dumb movie overall (but I still like it), but here's why you don't piss off a Grammaton Cleric.

I figure this part led into Bale getting the nod as Batman.

I love Equilbrium. It's a no-nonsense action flick No jumping behind the couch and shooting at each other for 10 minutes. Just blam blam, swisch swisch. Done.

Another great film by Bale is American Psycho. This scene where he professes the greatness of Huey and the News to his victim is fabulous. The business card scene is also just fantastic. You got to read the book to really appreciate it all.
