Default A question on book 5 - The Fires of Heaven

I've managed to skip past something in book 5 that's been bugging me for ages now. I'm currently at the part where Nynaeve and Elayne are travelling with the circus trying to find the Aes Sedai who are in hiding. Nynaeve cant remember the name of the town and has been trying to remember it for some time now. I cant even remember where they found out the name of the town in the first place. I know Suan found out the name from one of her spies, but I have no idea where Nynaeve found out. Can someone please help me?

From what I remember, she found out the name by spying in TAR on Elaida's correspondence. She read part of a report mentioning where those AS were, but then something happened, and when she looked again all she could find were other papers.

Ahhh that makes perfect sense, and it sounds vaguely familiar. But that brings up another question, if there's a report in Elaida's office about the location, how can it still be a secret, and why havent they been caught yet?

Because Elaida didn't really have the strength then to send an army accompanied by hundreds of sisters halfway across a continent. And Elaida didn't want the split to be made public in such a way anyway. She was hoping that the rebels would give up and return to the Tower. And the rebels didn't know that Elaida knew, so both sides had reason to keep it secret.
