Before Winter's Heart - Archive Only: Miscellaneous Theories

Moiraine said that she would kill Rand on the day she thought he would turn to the Shadow. The DO wants to turn Rand, yes? Will Moiraine kill Rand in the last battle, in order for him to save the world in some strange manner ("if you would live, you must die")? Min seems to think that Moiraine (or some other person who is dead and gone+her viewing hasn't happened yet) is essential in winning.

I am familiar with Moiraine's quote here, but I don't think that I ever thought she might go ahead with it. Maybe, thinking that the DO has turned him, she will attempt to destroy him. Interesting thought.
