If Red Eagle or whatever entity owns the rights would create a board game around WoT.
What kind of board game would you like to see?

Is there even anyone who would want something else?

Someone brought a homemade Snakes and Foxes board to JordanCon the last couple of years, that was fun (and I won :D)

Also we played Scrabble and allowed WOT words/names.

WOT versions of Trivial Pursuit and Monopoly would be interesting.

Risk, or its big brother Axis and Allies.

A Shogun-style game of Randland just after Artur Hawkwing's death would be pretty epic. Each kingdom for themselves. You could do this as RISK also, but I prefer a little more complexity. ^_^

As for a game taking place during the events of the books.. that one's a bit harder. You could do something more Axis&Allies-ish with the Last Battle, and somehow work in special rules for the Rand/DO showdown as an end game or game timer (or however that goes about happening in AMOL, not getting into specifics here). That way you would have factions that are allied, but separate players. 3 of them - Kingdoms of Randland, Seanchan, and Shadow.

Maybe a strategy/diplomacy/war game, where you play a forsaken.
Building up forces, forging aliances and maneuvering for power.

Agreed. Who wouldn't want to play with Berelain's "community chest"?
