What are some of your favorite quotes from the WoT books?

One that stuck in my mind and which is relevant today is
"To lead is neither to push or to pull"

This one always got me.

From the same book (tGH Ch 46):

Quote:
"The Light shine on you, Lord Ingtar of House Shinowa, and may you shelter in the palm of the Creator's hand." He touched Ingtar's shoulder. "The embrace of the mother welcome you home."
Another one that sticks in memory, one that stands in stark contrast to the former (LoC Ch 55):

Quote:
"I forget nothing, Aes Sedai," Rand said coldly. "I said six could come, but I count nine. I said you would be on equal footing with the Tower emissaries, and for bringing nine, you will be. They are on their knees, Aes Sedai. Kneel!"
(short gap - with the Aes Sedai in a huff, and then Taim at his best...)

Quote:
Taim appeared as close to a smile as Rand had ever seen him. "Kneel and swear to the Lord Dragon," he said softly, "or you will be knelt."

That whole section gives me chills every time I read it. The Asha'man exploding lines of people at a time, and then telling the Aes Sedai to kneel or be knelt was some of the coldest shit Rand (Taim, technically speaking, I guess) ever did

I can't think of any favourites off the top of my head, but I'll be back at this tomorrow.

I know I do like most of the entries to the Prophecies of the Dragon, not exactly quotes but RJ made them sound so glorious, epic, and terrifying
