  1. What are the Theoryland Factions?

First of all a faction can be defined as ,"a company of persons acting together," or ,"a party, in political society, combined or acting in union". The Theoryland Factions are parties of posters that have collectively agreed on a point of Wheel of Time theory. For example, there is the One Soul Faction. They believe that Rand is one soul. Or the Taim is Demandred Faction which should be self-explanatory. Grouping their beliefs has made each faction very powerful and they are always looking for new recruits.

  2. How do I become a member of a faction?

First, you have to sign up with Theoryland, either with a free or premium account. Then you can join a faction, as many as you would like. If you have signed up with a premium account, and have been with us for 6 months or more (which means you will be an Elder), then you can even create new factions. New factions will be reviewed by Theoryland. Check back often for new factions or movements within Theoryland.

  3. Can I be a member of multiple factions?

The simple answer is yes. You may join as many factions as you would like, but be careful that you don't join conflicting factions because you will most likely be ceremoniously kicked out by both groups. A group can remove you from its faction but this is only done by unanimous vote by all faction members, and it must have my personal approval. In other words, it is rare to kick someone out of multiple factions but it can oocur.

  4. What are my rights as a faction champion?

As a faction champion (or the creator of your faction) you will have the right to approve or deny new members, and if you are or Ancient status or higher you may remove members from your faction. This is your faction and we are trying to give you as much control as possible over the future of that faction. Use your power wisely, and remember, we always have the power to veto any action you make, so don't abuse it.

  5. How and when is a champion of a faction determined?

Many times there will not be an official champion of a faction because there were many individuals who created the faction. If that is the case, then the Tamyrlin will administer that faction until or unless he selects a champion from the members of that faction. If your faction is new, you will be named a champion of that faction. Champions are expected to fight for their factions beliefs valiantly.
